And other things that make me happy.

Is this Landscape Architecture?

Although we’ve finally moved on to a real project. (Thank heaven) We have spent the last 3 weeks making cardboard models, of concepts I’m unsure of, without use of real tools, and on the verge of insanity. I know conceptual, projects that work to break the artist are typical among many design programs, but this I felt was absurd. I’m hardly one to ever complain about studio, but as a Junior I thought perhaps a 1 week session on cardboard concepts would have been sufficient.  Maybe I’m being too closed-minded.

Now I’m wondering; what do other crazy design schools make their students do? What’s the craziest project you’ve had to do?
